These films were created within the scope of an architecture student’s research project at the Munich Technical University. The 1939 Finnish pavilion by Alvar Aalto, the 1967 German pavilion by Frei Otto and Rolf Gutbrod and a late-60s concept by Louis Kahn for the Hurva-Synagoge in Jerusalem which was not realised is shown. The films on the Finnish and the German pavilion were shown in the Pinakothek der Moderne’s museum of architecture expositions titled "Exemplary - Construction and Space in 20th Century Architecture" and "Frei Otto - building light, designing naturally".
